This award was launched anonymously in honor of Cherry Nellessen, given her extraordinary involvement in and support of the fine and performing arts at Prospect High School as a former Prospect parent. The award supports private music instruction (vocal and instrumental) for two students a year from Prospect's Marching Knights and Company or Mixed Company show choirs.
