John K. Marquette Endowed Fine Arts Scholarship

This award, established in honor of former John Hersey and Prospect high school teacher, coach and director John K. Marquette, provides $2,000 annually to graduating seniors: $1,000 to a senior from Hersey and $1,000 to a senior from Prospect.

Students must demonstrate significant ability and achievement in speech and/or theater and demonstrate the highest character, showing leadership; pride in his/her work; a passion for and love of speech and/or theater; and proven diligence and commitment to reaching their full potential.
