Community Education Emergency Assistance Fund

Some Adult Education and Family Literacy students and Prevention Initiative families are currently in need of financial assistance due to job loss and other situations. We expect more families to need help if WIC and SNAP benefits are lost.

To contribute to this fund, donate to the link provided.

All funds will be distributed to enrolled adult education students based on need on a case-by-case basis.

To donate by check, please make the check out to the District 214 Education Foundation, and indicate in the memo line its direction to direct it to the Community Education Emergency Assistance Fund.

If you need financial assistance, contact your teacher, home visitor, site supervisor or program coordinator to be considered.

To make donations for adult education student assistance with educational opportunities such as college classes or credential evaluation, or naturalization application fees, please donate to the Serafin Legacy Fund for Adult Education and Family Literacy at https://214foundation.org/serafin.
