The District 214 Education Foundation and the District 214 Community Education will host an event, Women Making History, to celebrate Women’s History Month supporting the Catherine M. Lee Women’s and Children’s Center at Forest View Educational Center – a place of hope and empowerment for immigrant women and their children.

The event, is open to all, and we encourage you to RSVP. Though it is free, seating is extremely limited (50 seats).

Top fine and performing student artists from every High School in District 214 will shine this spring on the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre stage at the inaugural District 214 Arts Spotlight -- an evening of talent that will launch a new arts fund.

The event will include appetizers, exhibits and performances, simultaneously showcasing the brilliance of today while funding the future of District 214 arts.

The event, which includes 18 holes and a reception, will include brunch, on-course contests and food prepared and served by District 214 culinary students. A reception will include hearty appetizers and student entertainment.
